WITH
TOM ALLEN, LORI GEMMELL & FRIENDS
Join us for a special evening of music and narrative.
A familiar voice on CBC Radio, storyteller and musician Tom Allen will narrate the tale of J.S. Bach's Long Walk in the Snow.
Music! Adventure! Romance!
Although today Bach is considered one the foremost European composers of the Baroque Era, he didn't begin his working life that way. At age 18, and in his first job as an organist, the young genius got into such trouble that the only thing he could do was to walk away - an odyssey of 400km.
The concert will feature glorious music, both familiar and stirring,
