OCCS is pleased to announce that the 2021-2022 concert season will commence on March 9, 2022. After a long hiatus due to Covid-19, we are looking forward to welcoming our subscribers to an exciting season of classical music performance. The opening concert will feature Percussiano 3 with pianists Elizabeth and Marcel Bergmann and percussionist Rod Thomas Squance. They will be presenting an innovative program with repertoire ranging from Bach to Brubeck, Schubert to Piazzolla, Chabrier to Ravel and Copland.
Other concerts in the series are Young Beeethoven (March 25), Lafayette String Quartet (April 23) and Alexander Weimann & Friends (May 27). This year we will be presenting a bonus concert featuring Janelle Nadeau and Friends (date to be announced).
A limited number of subscriptions for the season are available for purchase at our box office in the McMillan Arts Centre (MAC) in Parksville. We invite you to join us as we re-engage with musicians and fellow subscribers.
